Apple Pie - Homemade Baby Food

Ingredients:


Apples - Cored, Peeled and Sliced                                                              
Cool Boiled Water
Crushed Graham Crackers (not the honey grahams)
Oatmeal Cereal (for younger babies, substitute grahams for cereal)

Instructions:

This is a quick and simple recipe.

Add apples to a saucepan. Cook until tender. (You can also steam.). Transfer cooked apples to blender and puree, while adding water until desired consistency is reached. Add crushed graham crackers.

This is a tasty treat for babies who are learning how to chew. The cookies eventually soften and makes swallowing easy.

Suggestions:                                             

For 6-8 months.

Cooking time: 10-15 minutes.

For older babies: make a little chunkier
For younger babies: make a smooth, thin consistency, and use oatmeal cereal instead of graham crackers.
